Welcome to our light and airy 3 bedroom, detached house which sleeps 6. Its just a 10 minute walk from the historic harbour village of Charlestown, famous for its use as a film location.

Appletree House - Accommodation Details

The house itself is in an ideal, private off-road location. The ground floor has hallway, kitchen, dining room, cloakroom, toilet and lounge. The large lounge has two sofas, television with freeview and a living flame, coal-effect gas fire. Patio doors from the lounge lead to the garden. Enjoy alfresco dining on the patio with outside table and chairs.

The kitchen is an oak fully fitted style with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, washing machine & dryer etc plus the usual pans, pots, utensils, china and glassware for your holiday use. The dining room has dining table with 6 chairs.

Stairs lead to the first floor which has a bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The main double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has bath, washbasin and toilet.

Currently, whilst duvets and pillows are supplied, bed linen and towels are NOT provided. Please bring your own linen.

A travel cot is available to hire for an additional £10 per week.

There is parking available for 2 cars on the private drive. All fuel costs are included in the rates. Short breaks may be available, please ask.

No pets, apart from guide dogs. No smoking.

Nearby Amenities

Charlestown village has a post office, several shops and a working harbour. It also has numerous eating places and pubs with beer gardens within walking distance: the Rashleigh Inn, the Pier House, the Harbourside Inn, Wreckers, Bosun's Diner and Austell. All great places to sample local Cornish produce. Nearby, there are super coastal walks, sailing and other watersports. It's just 10 minutes drive to the renowned Eden Project and there are many other fascinating gardens and attractions within the locality.

The quaint cobbled streets of Fowey and Mevagissey are all within 20 minutes. There are several super sandy beaches at Carlyon Bay, Pentewan and Porthpean all within a few miles. Charlestown also has its own shingle and pebble beaches, with great rock pooling! There are plenty of leisure facilities nearby: sailing, coast path walks, outside play area and park, golf, fishing, children's soft play, Shipwreck Heritage Centre, gig rowing, leisure centre, swimming pool and others. There are Asda and Tesco Supermarkets within 5 minute drive, with online delivery available.
